The Cazadores brand has its roots in the highlands of Jalisco, specifically in the town of Arandas in Los Altos, where it was established in 1922 by its creator, Don José María. While working as an agave harvester during the day, he spent his nights refining his tequila recipe using traditional production methods. His tequila is double-distilled in small pots and then aged in virgin white-oak barrels.
