Chili Chipotle in Adobo CLEMENTE JACQUES 380 gr. Can. These are delicious pickled chilli chipotle, in a fine fiery red marinade made from tomatoes and various spices. The Chipotle gives your dishes a sweetish-smoky-fiery touch, tastes super delicious with all kinds of dishes.
The chipotle was probably invented by the Aztecs, probably in northern Mexico. It is said that the Aztecs smoked the chillies because the thick, meaty jalapeño was difficult to dry and spoiled quickly. By smoking the chillies they can be kept for a longer period of time.
